It's amazing how far a little campus like VIT can take you. Here we have a long tradition of offering study abroad programs. That means we have well-established affiliations with prestigious universities around the globe.
Studying abroad broadens and deepens your foreign experience by helping you understand more fully the citizens and culture of other countries. Best of all, we offer three special scholarships for study abroad trips.
At VIT many of the student clubs offer short-term travel. Some clubs travel to developed nations while other clubs emphasize developing countries. The Model UN Club makes trips once a semester to Africa, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Some students at VIT are constantly traveling abroad—and getting credit for it. Three clubs in the Department of Political Science offer travel opportunities beyond your wildest dreams. Unlike our study abroad program, these foreign travel programs are two-week journeys to exotic locales like Panama, China, Europe, and Africa. Students have the chance to shake hands with foreign ambassadors, learn firsthand about current world events and take whirlwind tours of culturally or historically significant places. Some students have managed to see as many as 12 countries in four years. Where in the world will VIT take you?
